I have loved all of the pom pom throws Iโve seen around the webs in this season and have always loved how girly, luxurious and lavish they feel.
Iโve always wanted make one of these throws but the options in the market are crazy pricey (like over $150), so I was thinking about making a pom pom throws DIY.
And so I did some researches and I find 5 easy Ikea hacks for your blanket. And all the versions are under $50, enough of savings to make one for a gift and one to keep!
I thought this time of year was the best to give it a try and give it to someone deserving of a unique and elegant gift for Christmas.

5 pom pom Ikea Hacks For Your Blanket
1. Mini pom pom blanket for 7$
Choose a cheap Ikea blanket, buy tiny pom pom trim from amazon.
Pin or clip the trim to the back of the blanket with the poms right up against the edge of the blanket.
Stitch along blanket 1/8โณ from edge.

2. Mix pom pom and tassel blanket for 15$
Use a basic Ikea blanket for this project, then buy some yarn from Michaels and began to assemble your pom pom and tassels.

3. Tassel blanket for 25$
Start with a cheap ikea throw and some thick yarn from Michaels, begin to assemble the tassels then, using an embroidery needle, attach the tassels to the corners and along the edges of the blanket.

Buy the Ikea knitted throw, match it with some yarn from Michaels. Attach your pom poms and you’ve done!

5. Faux fur pom pom blanket for 47$
Pick your ikea blanket and buy some faux fur from Joann. Make the pom pom and stuff them with polyfill.
Cinch the top of the fur pom pom around the fringe tightly and stitch the pom entirely closed, making sure to sew through the edge as well.
Repeat this on every section of the fringe and enjoy your fur pom pom throw.
