and welcome to my world of knitting! I am ARIANNA, the creative mind behind this blog, designer, and maker who is passionate about knitting and the quiet, simple pleasures of life.
My knitting style is both rustic and refined, and it speaks to those who find solace and comfort in the natural world, tradition, and the beauty that can be found in the mysterious corners of the world.

I first picked up knitting needles in 2010, when I was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma while planning my wedding. Knitting became a way for me to unplug and find peace during a challenging time (see the whole story HERE).
In 2012, I designed my first baby blanket pattern when I couldn’t find the perfect one. Since then, I have designed over 70+ timeless, and size-inclusive knit patterns.
As a designer, I understand the importance of creating patterns that are not only beautiful but also understandable and accessible to knitters of all skill levels. That’s why I’ve taken tech editing courses and masterclasses for the hand-knit pattern market, including design, pattern writing, pattern-checking, tech editing, and grading. Since 2019, I have been offering my services on a freelance basis, and I am excited to extend my skills to independent knitwear designers.
When I’m not knitting, you can usually find me sipping a cup of tea and reading a good book. I’m a firm believer in the power of kindness, and I strive to help others in any way that I can. I’m also a proud mother of three daughters, and I love speaking Italian with them.
