Week 14: Broken rib stitch
Cast on in multiples of 2
Row 01: * P1, K1 *
Row 02: Knit
Row 03: * P1, K1 *
Row 04: Knit
Row 05: * P1, K1 *
Row 06: Knit
Row 07: Knit
Row 08: Purl
Row 09: Knit
Row 10: Knit
Repeat rows 1-10 until the desired length.
Tips: Row 2 = Right side/Front
If youโre not adding a border, to Bind off I recommend ending on row 9.
Week 15: Ribbed stripes stitch
CO in multiples of 10
Row 1: * P1, K1 *
Row 2: Knit the kโs, purl the pโs
Row 3: Knit the kโs, purl the pโs
Row 4: * P3 [K1, P1 x3] P1 *
Row 5: * K2 [P1, K1 X3] K2 *
Row 6: * P3 [K1, P1 x3] P1 *
Row 7: * K4, P1, K5 *
Row 8: * P5, K1, P4 *
Row 9: * K4, P1, K5 *
Repeat rows 1-9 until the desired length.
Tips: Row 2 = Right side/Front
This is a stitch that you can use for borders, really simple. You can use it as a beginning border for a hat, or a blanket.
Week 16: Diagonal knit stitch
CO in multiples of 6
Row 1: * P4, K2 *
Row 2: Knit the kโs, purl the pโs
Row 3: K2 * P4, K2 * P4
Row 4: Knit the kโs, purl the pโs
Row 5: P2, K2 * P4, K2 * P2
Row 6: Knit the kโs, purl the pโs
Repeat rows 1-6 until the desired length.
Tips: Row 2 = Right side/Front
If youโre not adding a border, to Bind off I recommend ending on row 5.
Week 17: Basket weave stitch
CO in multiples of 6
Row 01: * P*
Row 02: * K2, P4*

Row 08: * P3, K2, P1 *
Row 09: * K1, P2, K3 *
