School can be a hurdle, but when you are taking notes in a cute DIY notebook, it is so much more enjoyable.
Here are some of my favorite DIY notebook ideas you can make, right today!
Put off that project just a few minutes more and make one of these adorable notebooks with your child. He’ll be looking forward to taking notes now.
1. Leather and wood
These fabulous wood & leather DIY notebooks may not look it, but they are super easy to make!
Cut a piece of the leather slightly more extensive than you’ll need to cover the binder edging, and wrap it around the backside. Attach the leather to the binding of the notebook with glue.
Cut two pieces of wood veneer and attach the first piece of surface to the front of the notebook with glue. Be sure to butt the wood right up to the leather binding. Then, flip it over and attach the second piece of veneer the same way as the first. Clamp the wood with a chip clip and wait for the glue to dry.

2. Chalkboard
There are a million chalkboard paint projects, but this never crossed my mind!
For this DIY notebook hack, merely paint your generic notebook with chalkboard paint and cover the binding with a leather strip for this look.

3. from Scratch
Even if you don’t have a notebook, you can make one!
Count seven pieces of printer paper and fold them in half. Choose one piece of wrapping paper as a cover of your notebook.
Poke five equidistant holes through your notebook and weave your embroidery floss through the holes. When you get to the end, tie the end.
