Felt succulent box! I’m really excited to share today’s post!
You know I’ve been totally obsessed with creating a very delicious room for my daughters, right? No? Oh, OKโฆ well here’s a little recap!
First I shared a DIY for an ice cream themed room. It got the room off to a great start.
Then I found something that helped me create some large scale fake plant. It’s a plush cacti and it is so cute!
And today I’m back again to share an idea for felt succulent box for the bunk beds.
I wanted to fill the room with good vibes and the felt succulent box add so much to the room and is a fun plushie play on my plant obsession.
This felt succulent box can add a whimsical touch to a childโs bedroom or can be used to decorate a wall at a baby shower.
More resilient and affordable than the real thing, these felt versions can quickly become party staples. Perfect for a photo wall, they make a big impact while still being easy to make on your own. All it takes a little patience!
You donโt need to make a million cactus either! This craft can get a little time consuming, so if you have a big project to do, it might be a smart idea to have some friends over and make a night of it.
A few extra sets of hands will make it all go by so much faster!
Supplies:
โข green felt (in various shades)
โข brown felt
โข wire and wire snippers (Having the wire allows you to move and bend the cactus arms as you please once it’s planted in your box)
โข fabric scissors
โข glue or hot glue gun
โข window boxes
โข cardboard
โข pillow stuffing
Figure out what cactus youโll make. There is a various style of succulent: layering petals, ball-shaped, mother of pearl, ric-rac cactus,…
Cut and shape the style, assemble your cactus, finish and add some velcro strips to the bottom of your plant.

Cacti and succulents are trendier than ever!
Besides making for super cool decors (not to mention, easy to care for), the results are so pretty!
