September Favorites

I always find I have so many discoveries over the course of a month which are exciting but maybe donโ€™t need a whole post singularly, so I think this could be a great deal: my September Favorites!

Introducing a new series on the blog (Yep! Another one!) โ€“ a monthly favorites post where I give you the rundown of things Iโ€™ve been searching, buying, reading, and making in the month just gone.

Making

The first thing I do when Cecilia starts school is searching recipes for breakfast โ€“ I usually buy cookies and cereals, but she wants something sweeter. This month that included vegan cake without frosting (I added nuts which were yummy!).
I also planned the entire month meals. A different meal every day for 30 days. Easy recipes, a lot of veggies, and less pasta (hopefully my grandmother isnโ€™t reading this). Weird but good weird.

Iโ€™ve been feeling motivated to do DIY projects that represent our family trips, and I have some ideas flooding my head. First up? Some embroidery maps. I have all the materials, and now it’s time to begin!

Nesting

Does anyone else feel the urge to do a little interiors overhaul at the middle of the year? Pair that with my new rental project on my blog and my interiors brain is about to explode!

At the beginning of September I got stuck for a whole week โ€“ you know when youโ€™ve got like a million things to do, but you get obsessed with finding something online? I got this and this prints after stumbling upon it on Etsy; these are an easy way to update a space without blowing your budget. Ps: I want this one too!!!

I also got aย Kalanchoe blossfeldiana (Flaming Katy)plant at Orchard, the store next to me is closing and have a big sale!

Finally, I pin in my autumn board on Pinterest all the things I love in fall.

Reading

The best thing about the hammock? You donโ€™t have any guilt about staying in and reading a book while my girls are playing.

I finished “domino” and reread “start with why“. These book helps me to find my way to blogging following my passions.

This week I started “holistic tarot“. I love to use tarot for self-explorationย and I have a lot of deks that, right now, are unused.

Going

Discovered this big thrift shop in San Francisco, which is so my vibe! I find a big and beautiful old chest, but when we got to check the price, it was already sold ๐Ÿ™
I recommend a visit in Mission, SF, if youโ€™re on the hunt for your next destination.
