We are almost at the end of Wintertime, and thereโs something magical about the final days on a season. If you are an introvert prepare to nurture yourself at home because this is the best time of the year to slow down and give yourselves a rest and renew your spirit.
If you are like me, Iโm guessing you love all things cozy, so here there is a list of my top 5 ideas to nurture yourself at home. It will set you on the right path to embracing the cozy side of living.
1. Seasonal flavors
Make sure you enjoy a sampling of the flavors of the end of the season. Bake some sweet potatoes, muffins or enjoy a mug of hot chocolate.
2. Fireplace picnic
You don’t have to have a picnic outside, just spread a blanket in front of a roaring fire in your living room. Roast marshmallows, drink hot apple cider and have a picnic basket standing by filled with yummy treats to devour with your love as you’ve done at Valentine’s day.
3. Home spa
Turn your bathroom into a home spa. Thick fluffy towels, relaxing music, and a bathtub pillow are just some of the things you might include in your tranquility room.
4. Bookathon
This is my favorite! The end of winter is the perfect time to catch up on all that reading that you let slide because of your busy life. Keep a stack of those books on your bedside table to dive into on the last cold winter evenings.
5. Starry skies
Grab some blankets and chairs and look up into the sky. See if you can find all the constellations. Stargazing is magical, really!
