March favorite

Can you believe another month has slipped by?
In between Carnevale, Cecilia’s birthday and spending hours trying to find outfits that work for her growing bodyโ€ฆ the month has flown!
Once again Iโ€™m excited to share with you the things I discovered and loved this month.

Making

On Ravelry, I found so many great ideas to knit for Cecilia’s ballet class. Iโ€™ve been making a bolero and a legwarmer and I canโ€™t wait to share with you.

This month we also made succulent felt plants, that come in a kit. The kids love making them. I loved it cause no glue required and they look very real.

Nesting

Iโ€™m a baskets addict and recently spent more than I care to admit on seagrass basket. There are so many styles and so many sizes! I want everything!

When living room options are feeling a little out of control, it seems I turn to accent furniture.
This month has been about searching an armchair that Iโ€™ve had on my mind for ages but hasnโ€™t gotten around to.
Something similar to this armchair from Macy and this one from Wayfair.

Reading

For Cecilia’s birthday, I gifted her an amazing book: The Fox and the Star. Inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement and the art of William Blake, it is a heartwarming, hopeful tale of friendshipโ€™s power to change and fill lives which comes alive through beloved illustrations.

Iโ€™m all about mythology, from old tales to new discoveries. Which is why I loved Norse Mythology, a bravura rendition of the great northern tales by Neil Gaiman.

Going

Iโ€™m saving up a huge folder of places weโ€™re going for spring break!
This cafe looks like my kinda place.
As you guys know the sea is at the top of my bucket list, and I really want to see some amazing little cities on the coast! Like Carmel by the sea.
