No matter what your decorating style or theme is, there are things you can do around your home to breath new life into it: Reuse, repurpose and reassign for what you have, and you will be amazed at the transformation.
Read on for a few tips and tricks for easy decorate every room.

1. Bring Greens Indoors

Plants and flowers always add life to any space into which they are placed. And bringing the outdoors in not only makes a home feel complete but also makes it feel curated and welcoming.
But donโ€™t worry, this doesnโ€™t mean you have to shell out the cash for expensive greenery. The same effect can be achieved by simply collecting some interesting greenery from the outdoors.
Pull up some ferns or ivy from your yard, post them in stainless mixing bowls with rocks in the bottom for drainage, gather long slender sticks and leave them natural or spray paint them and place them in vases on shelves. Keep an ever-changing bouquet of flowers from the yard on the coffee table and/or kitchen counter.

2. Rethink Your Furniture Arrangement

When tasked with updating our space, often the first thought that comes to mind is the need to buy new furniture. But trust me when I say that simply swapping pieces from room to room can make a staggering difference. I spent my whole youth rearranging my bedroom!
Look around your house and get an idea of what you already have that can be moved.
If the color match, or even add a pretty contrast, swap furniture from other rooms!
For instance, try placing that side table next to your bed in your living room. Or move a chair from your office to your entryway. An unused globe on your childโ€™s shelf makes a beautiful piece on the mantel, swap throw pillows, a lamp, maybe a rug!
Sometimes even just moving it from one area in the room to another can bring about big changes.
Get the idea? Deciding on new places for familiar things, means you are creating new juxtapositions and changing the context for how your brain interprets what you are seeing.

3. Clear it out

You know Iโ€™m a fan of a good clean out, and I know that this may seem like the opposite of what you want to do, but maybe the facelift your home decor needs is room to breathe.
Crowding too many things into a room can make it feel claustrophobic, which often makes you wonder whatโ€™s wrong with the decor.
Clearing out unnecessary items and dรฉcor that youโ€™re no longer in love with will give you a clean slate to work with.
Start in one room, remove all non-essential items then start putting items back one by one.
A good rule of thumb? If it isnโ€™t functional, doesnโ€™t make you excited when you see it, or isnโ€™t something youโ€™re truly in love with, toss it.
All you need to do is give your room a bit of emptiness and it will feel like youโ€™ve done a major renovation!

4. Focus on One Corner at a Time

When faced with an entire room, decorating down to the details can seem overwhelming.
For easy decorate your home, if you have time to spare, consider working on easy tasks, and accomplish simple chores at your own pace.
Try to focus on one thing throughout the space โ€” a bar cart, your entryway, a side table โ€” and carefully style each one individually. This way, you wonโ€™t overlook the essential details throughout your space.

5. Throw a Throw Over Your Seating

It may seem too simple to actually work, but believe it or not, a cozy throw casually thrown over the end of a sofa or back of a chair can do wonders to make space feel more luxurious and expensive.
If you want bonus points in this category, try to knit an easy Herringbone throw or add pom-pom on what you already have on hand.

6. Set a sweet-smelling mood

Donโ€™t throw out your dried flowers, use them to make your own potpourri.
Combine a handful of dried flowers, mix them with a few drops of lavender oil or even cinnamon to create an all-natural freshener for your boudoir.

7. Printables as wall art

Free printables are all over the internet these days and are a great way to add artworks.
Consider vintage music poster books, which provide dozens of wall-ready options.
You can add them to an old frame, or, for a boho look, forgo frames and use brass tacks or string them up with twine and clothespins.

8. New decor online

Often you can find pieces that people are just wanting to get rid of, and all it costs is your time to go and pick it up.ย Freecycle, Craigslist, and even online yard sale sites on Facebook are great resources for free items and for easy decorate. As long as they are sturdy and in good condition, you can update nearly anything with paint or fabric.

9. Recycle

Look around your home and find things to repurpose in new ways. Flat bottomed baskets can be hung on the wall in the bathroom and used to hold rolled washcloths.
You can even use old shirts, sweaters, or skirts to cover throw pillows.
Food containers (like oatmeal cartons, soup cans, pasta sauce jars or cereal boxes) can be totally transformed.
Think outside the box/basket and you might be amazed at what you can recycle.

10. Paint things you already have

Ok, this one might not be completely easy decorate free, but itโ€™s close!
If you have a can of spray paint in your garage-even white or black, you can transform anything.
You will be amazed at what you can do with spray paint. Accessories can be updated, and itโ€™s a cheap way to transform big things like furniture.
