This month I’m focused on simply WIP because I’m very busy, like a lot of parents right now, with homeschooling my daughters.
Working on something small and with simple stitches help me to not lose my temper during the day and relaxing more when the evening comes.
If you wish to relax knitting, follow me on this journey!
Finished works
Sol tank: a beautiful design from Jacqueline Cisak with a twist! Yes, I knitted it in two colors using intarsia in the round!
Herringbone dishtowel: My first free dishtowel was on the blog in August! My daughter loves it and she asked me to knit one as a doll blanket!
WIP
Moon bandana: A quick knit that it’s almost finished! This will be my daughter’s bandana and the moons make it a perfect match for her mini-moon cardi!
Moon Dishtowel: Yes, I know, another moon pattern! But what I can say? I’m obsessed! I am knitting this one in 100% cotton this time.
Dreaming of casting on
Ursa sweater: I can’t believe I bought this pattern almost one year ago and I haven’t started it yet!
Monogrammed sweater: I really want a bulky sweater for Christmas, I have to start planning about it!
Reading
Vassa in the Night: A reworks of the Russian story of Vassilissa the Beautiful, setting it in an industrial Brooklyn. A strange novel, a modern fairy tale, Grimm-style, darkly magical with evocative settings.
Goddess in the Machine: From my July Owlcrate. A sci-fi adventure, inventive and unique. It’s my first sci-fi novel and I can’t wait to finish it!
Upcoming projects and news
The previous month, I had released my Moon Cardi, a pattern perfect for fall.
This month, I will release another free dishcloth and a pattern bundle on my Etsy shop.
On my blog this month, I will write about dye, test knit, and editing. Stay tuned!
