Optional:
One tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder

Directions
In a 12-ounce (375 ml) mug or larger, mix flour, sugar, cinnamon powder, and baking powder in a large microwave-safe mug.
Stir in milk and canola oil.

No microwave?
You can bake your mug cake in the oven for fifteen minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out mostly clean.
The cake is stuck to the mug?
Lightly grease the inside of the mug before adding the ingredients, this will make the cake easier to remove. You can use cooking spray, butter, or any cooking oil. Then you can mix together the ingredients.
Substitutions:
Milk: use plant-based milk like coconut, soy, or almond milk.
Flour: use oat flour, almond flour, or gluten-free all-purpose flour.
My daughters say my mug cake is hands-down the best cake they’ve ever tried. What do you think?
