GLOSSARY
Double wrap stitch – DWS
First round: Insert your needle into the first stitch of your round. Wrap the yarn around your right needle as you normally would to knit a stitch, but this time, you’re going to wrap it around the needle a second time as well. Pull both loops through the stitch and complete as a normal knit stitch; however, you will have 2 loops on the right needle instead of just 1.
Repeat this process of double wrapping for every stitch along this round. At the end of the round, you will have double the number of loops.
Second round: Insert your right needle into the first of the two loops of the first stitch and knit it as usual. Once you have knitted the stitch, drop the second loop off of the left needle. This makes the stitch taller, giving the fabric an open effect.
Repeat to the end of the round, you now have the same number of loops as at the beginning of round 1.
Repeat steps 1 to 4 to continue working in Double Wrap Stitch.

Elastic Bind off
Knit one stitch. Knit another one. Now insert your left needle through the 2 st you have on your right, in front of the right needle. Knit these 2 st together through the back loop. You have bound off 1 stitch. Now you can knit the following st from your left needle and repeat the process until you have worked all your stitches.
