LOVELY TO MEET YOU!

Hello, and welcome
I’m Arianna, a knit designer and writer.
My work is about belonging. Knitting and writing are the languages I use to talk about it.
I create size-inclusive knitting patterns and quiet narratives for knitters who want to feel seen, without judgment or pressure. My aesthetic is cozy, romantic, and a little magical, rooted in tradition, nature, and the beauty of small, intentional acts.
MORE ABOUT ME…
I first picked up knitting needles in 2010, during a difficult moment in my life while planning my wedding and facing a Hodgkin lymphoma diagnosis. Knitting became a way to slow down, to breathe, and to reconnect with myself. What began as a personal refuge gradually became a practice, and then a body of work (see the whole story HERE).
In 2012, I designed my first baby blanket pattern after realizing I couldn’t find what I was looking for. Since then, I’ve designed 100+ size-inclusive patterns, shaped by real life, limited time, and a deep respect for clarity and wearability.
My background in architecture strongly influences my design process. I care deeply about structure, balance, and how things come together. I’ve studied knitwear design, grading, pattern writing, and tech editing, and I approach each pattern with both creativity and precision.
Beyond patterns, I write about knitting as a practice of care, patience, and belonging. I believe making things with our hands can help us feel less alone.
When I’m not knitting or writing, I’m usually reading, drinking tea, and moving through life with my three daughters. Kindness matters to me. Slowness matters. Making room for ourselves matters.
If you’re drawn to knitting that feels thoughtful, comforting, and human, you’re in the right place.
