The cosmo sweater knitting pattern is a squishy, celestial sweater with simple construction and unique detailing.
The cosmo sweater knitting pattern design features a five-color yoke, giving it enough detailing to be interesting while maintaining a timeless simplicity.
It is constructed from the top-down, with a striped yoke and directions and yarn requirements for two sleeves (short/long) and two lengths (cropped/full).
SIZING
All of my garment patterns are size inclusive up to at least a 60” full bust circumference.
Sizes: 1 (2, 3, 4, 5) [6, 7, 8, 9]
Bust Sizes: 28 (32, 36, 40) [44, 48, 52] {56, 60, 64}” / 71 (81, 91, 101) [112, 122, 137] {132, 152, 162.5} cm
Finished Garment Bust Measurements: 31 (35, 39, 43) [47, 51, 55] {59, 63, 67}” / 78 (89, 99, 109) [119, 129, 139] {149, 160, 170} cm. – approx. 3 inches / 7.5 cm of positive ease recommended.
GAUGE, NEEDLES, NOTIONS
Gauge: 24 stitches and 30 rounds over 4”/10cm
Needles: US 4 – 3.5 mm 32”- 80 cm circular needles and DPN or magic loop needle for sleeves and US 5 – 3.75 mm 32” – 80 cm circular needles and DPN or magic loop needle for sleeves if you will work the long sleeves version.
Notions: stitch markers, Holders /waste yarn, Tapestry needle
YARN
I used: Hobbii Twister Solid (55% Cotton, 45% Acrylic; 437 yds/400 m) in Cream (MC), Corn (CC1), Light rose (CC2), Flamingo (CC3), and Ginger (CC4).
Yarn: weight 2 (Fine, sport, baby)

MC for CROPPED version: 262 (289, 315, 341) [368, 394, 421] {460, 500, 538} yds / 239 (264, 288, 312) [336, 360, 385] {420, 357, 492} m
MC for LONG version: 349 (384, 419, 454) [490, 524, 560] {611, 665, 715} yds / 319 (351, 383, 415) [448, 479, 512] {558, 608, 654} m
For long sleeves, add 15% MC yarn to your size.
CC1: 50-60 yds / 45-55 m
CC2: 90-100 yds / 82-91 m
CC3: 110-120 yds / 100-110 m
CC4: 120-130 yds / 110-120 m
