Private Weekly Mom + Kid Knitting Lessons in Pleasanton
Located in my home in Pleasanton, these private classes are designed for both parent and child to learn and enjoy knitting together! Each lesson is an hour, providing plenty of time for you both to practice new skills and work on your projects side by side.
Classes run month-to-month, and follow the local school calendar for breaks and holidays.
What Youโll Learn
Together, weโll start with the basics and work step-by-step through the essential knitting techniques:
– How to select yarn and needles for your projects
– Holding the needle and working the yarn
– Core stitches: casting on, knitting, purling, and binding off
– Working in rows and rounds
– Reading simple patterns together
– Completing a project within the month
This class encourages bonding time while helping you and your child build confidence in knitting! Projects are designed to be simple yet fun, ensuring success for both the parent and child by the end of the month. As your skills develop, we can advance to more complex patterns, allowing you to make matching accessories or garments.
Materials
The cost of materials is not included. You will need the following for both you and your child:
– Worsted-weight yarn
– US 10 (6.0 mm) knitting needles

Cancelation Policy: If you need to miss the class, please give us as much notice as possible. If you give usย more than 24 hours notice, we will transfer your registration fee to another class or store credit.
