The Moon Castle Tee knitting pattern is a design that celebrates my childhood and the beauty of growth. The castle design, along with the crescent moon, is inspired by the Sailor Moon Anime and Manga.
There is a lot of great imagery to choose from, but ultimately I went with the Moon Kingdom, home of the Moon people, ruled by Queen Serenity, it was located in Mare Serenitatis (The Sea of Serenity).
It has a fairy-tale appearance, perfect for a tee.
The Moon Castle Tee knitting pattern also features a crescent moon on the back.

The Moon Castle Tee knitting pattern is knitted bottom-up in the round, starting with a garter stitch border.
The instructions are both written and charted.
The back and front are separated and worked back and forth in stockinette stitch; the shoulders are grafted together with Kitchener stitch.
Stitches are picked up for the neckband and armholes and are finished in garter stitch.

All of my garment patterns are size inclusive up to at least a 60” full bust circumference.

Gauge: 26 stitches and 34 rounds over 4”/10cm
Needles: US 6/4 mm & US 5/3.75 mm circular needle – 32”/80 cm circular, smaller circular or DPNs or sleeves and cuffs if not using magic loop
Notions: Stitch markers, Holders /waste yarn, Tapestry needle

This garment is designed for a Sport bamboo/cotton blend. I used Ice Yarns, Bamboo Natural.
