Cut the yarn, leaving a good length and thread it through the remaining stitches. Pull the yarn tight to draw them together and fasten yarn securely.
In the end, sew the two little ends so that the flower is circular.
Bow:
Cast on four stitches.
Knit in stockinette stitch 15 rows.
Bind off, leave a long tail for the middle of the bow.
Weave in the first shorter tail. Take the long end and sew the top and bottom together.
Use the rest of the tail and wrap it tightly around the middle several times.
Secure the end through the back of the loop.
Pom pom (with a fork!)
Wrap the wool around the outer two prongs until it gets really fat.
When you are ready, cut the end of the wool and, using a new small piece or a little thread, bunch the wool together and tie it really tight to secure it.
Take your wool off the fork and cut all the loops.
Sew your embellishment on the ears and sew the ears to the body.
