Stitches for the weeks 9-13

Week 9: Alternating garter rib stitch

CO in multiples of 6
Even rows: Right side/Front
Row 1: *P3, K3; rep to the end
Row 2: Knit
Row 3: *P3, K3; rep to the end
Row 4: Knit
Row 5: *P3, K3; rep to the end
Row 6: Knit
Row 7: *P3, K3; rep to the end
Row 8: Knit
Row 9: *K3, P3; rep to the end
Row 10: Knit
Row 11: *K3, P3; rep to the end
Row 12: Knit
Row 13: *K3, P3; rep to the end
Row 14: Knit
Row 15: *K3, P3; rep to the end
Row 16: Knit
Repeat rows 1-16 until the desired length.

Tip: If youโ€™re not adding a border, to BO I recommend ending on row 15 and BO in the row 16 pattern.

Week 10: Alternating smooth ridge stitch

CO in any number of stitches
Row 1: Knit
Row 2: Purl
Row 3: Knit
Row 4: Purl
Row 5: Knit
Row 6: Knit
Repeat rows 1-6 until the desired length.

Tip: to bind off I recommend ending on row 5.

Week 11: waved welt stitch

CO in multiples of 8 stitches, plus 1
Row 1: *P1, K7; rep to the last st, P1
Row 2: K2 *P5, K3; rep to the last 7 st, P5, K2
Row 3: P3 *K3, P5; rep to the last 6 st, K3, P3
Row 4: K4 *P1, K7; rep to the last 5 st, P1, K4
Row 5: *K1, P7; rep to the last st, K1
Row 6: P2 *K5, P3; rep to the last 7 st, K5, P2
Row 7: K3 *P3, K5; rep to the last 6 st, P3, K3
Row 8: P4 *K1, P7; rep to the last 5 st, K1, P4
Repeat rows 1-8, until the desired length.

Week 12: chevron stitch

CO in multiples of 8+1
Row 1: K1 *P7, K1; rep to the end
Row 2: P1 *K7, P1; rep to the end
Row 3: K2 *P5, K3; rep to the last 7 st, P5, K2
Row 4: P2 *K5, P3; rep to the last 7 st, K5, P2
Row 5: K3 *P3, K5; rep to the last 6 st, P3, K3
Row 6: P3 *K3, P5; rep to the last 6 st, K3, P3
Row 7: K4 *P1, K7; rep to the last 5 st, P1, K4
Row 8: P4 *K1, P7; rep to the last 5 st, K1, P4
Row 9: P1 *K7, P1; rep to the end
Row 10: K1 *P7, K1; rep to the end
Row 11: P2 *K5, P3; rep to the last 7 st, K5, P2
Row 12: K2 *P5, K3; rep to the last 7 st, P5, K2
Row 13: P3 *K3, P5; rep to the last 6 st, K3, P3
Row 14: K3 *P3, K5; rep to the last 6 st, P3, K3
Row 15: P4 *K1, P7; rep to the last 5 st, K1, P4

Repeat rows 1-16 until the desired length.

Tip: If youโ€™re not adding a border, to BO I recommend ending on row 15.
This is kinda reversible, theyโ€™re not exactly the same, but similar.

Week 13: Twist zig zagย 

Cast on a multiple of 6 sts +3.
Row 1: * K1, RT; repeat from * to end
Row 2: * P1, sl 1, p1; repeat from * to end
Row 3: * RT, k1; repeat from * to end
Row 4: * P2, sl 1; repeat from * to end
Row 5: K2, * RT, k1; repeat from * to last st, k1
Row 6: * Sl 1, p2; repeat from * to end
Rows 7 through 12: Repeat rows 1 through 6
Row 13: * K1, RT; repeat from * to end
Row 14: * P1, sl 1, p1; repeat from * to end
Row 15: * K1, LT; repeat from * to end
Row 16: * Sl 1, p2; repeat from * to end
Row 17: K2, * LT, k1; repeat from * to last st, k1
Row 18: * P2, sl 1; repeat from * to end
Row 19: * LT, k1; repeat from * to end
Row 20: * P1, sl 1, p1; repeat from * to end
Rows 21 through 26: Repeat rows 15 through 20
Row 27: * K1, LT; repeat from * to end
Row 28: * Sl 1, p2; repeat from * to end
Repeat these 28 rows.

Right twist: RT – Skip 1 stitch and knit the second stitch, leave on the needle; then knit the skipped stitch, slip both stitches from the needle together.
Left twist: LT – Skip 1 stitch and knit into the back of the second stitch, leave on the needle; then knit the skipped stitch, slip both stitches from the needle together.
