How to embrace a slow and mindful lifestyle

In 2019 I’ve embraced a slow and mindful lifestyle.
Iโ€™m talking about being conscious about taking time out.
This will mean something different for all of us. For some it might be knitting, reading a book or a magazine, going to yoga, switching the phone off, lighting a candle, spending time with family, cooking,โ€ฆ
Whatever it might be, itโ€™s important to slow down sometimes.

For me, embrace a slow and mindful lifestyle means knitting, of course, and I happen to absolutely love what I do.

This year, and Iโ€™m doing well so far, plus, I have a goal to have a clean and tidy house and dishes planned for all the week, along with less work. I still working on finish my work no later than 6 pm.
All is actually possible if you plan better.

Slow decorating

Last week I wrote a post about slow decorating that I would recommend reading. I couldnโ€™t agree more to embrace a slow and mindful lifestyle through decorating.
And rushing into things is really the wrong thing to do. Slow decorating is a great approach to Hygge, too.

My Pinterest account has now been taken by over by plants, simple stitches, soft and rusty colors and I absolutely love it! I have mostly white yarn and Iโ€™m going to shop for more desaturated colors.
Saying that though, I think my patterns will change a lot in the next few months.
More about that soon.
