A free heirloom knitted blanket for your baby

Everything I see is pointing to the fact that if you buy wood yarn this autumn, make it an heirloom knitted blanket.
If you are like me and only like thingsย when they are 1) beautiful, 2) cheap, 3)ย DIY, or 4) all of the above, make sure you get down to your local yarn store and buy yarn in a cool color for slinging around your kids.
The best thing is that itโ€™s insanely do-able in your kid’s room, and so here I show you how to knit this knitted blanket.

Create really pretty bobbles with a simple 4-row repeat.
The Raspberry stitch, known as the Trinity Stitch and Astrakhan Stitch, features an eye-catching bobble design.
I love how the texture really looks like little berries!
