October favorites

Itโ€™s getting to that time of year when getting out of bed is hard. I mean REALLY HARD. The snooze button starts to look pretty good every morning and all you want to do is wrap yourself in your blankets and never come out.

Anyway, I found so many fun things on the internet this month, excited to share them with you.

October Favorites

Making

Carve a bunch of pumpkins, the biggers are one for each daughter, the smaller (five more, and my favorites!) representing our family.

This month I got down to business for girls’ room, we buy two japanese paper lantern and planning a DIY pom-pom garland for covering the wires.

Have started dreaming of renovating an ottoman after sharing an entire post of interesting ideas. But I’m still searching in thrift stores the perfect ottoman (the perfect shape I mean).

Nesting

Absolutely loving the whole dried flower trendโ€ฆ and mixing dried flowers and silk are right up my alley. I fell in love with this Etsy store, a lot of delicate design inspired by nature.

I’m full steam ahead on my houseโ€ฆ In case you missed it I talked about Improving your rental. Might not sound sexy but it’s so important!ย

Because of this, Iโ€™ve been doing so much inspiration gathering, my last home obsession is a living room jungle.

Another obsession is for Polaroid! Polaroid cameras are making a comeback for a while, I remember spotted the first in Australia, back in 2016! But we were traveling around the World, and in my dream, I want photos to stick on my wall! Finally, the time is coming so I did some researchโ€ฆ the best one is the same I spotted a long time ago, I wanted a pink one but now there are two different shades: Pink and Flamingo pink! Please help me choose one ๐Ÿ™‚

Reading

Ramen season is back on and I couldnโ€™t be happier.ย  Bought this cookbook. So many yummy recipes that remind me Japan!
We really love ramen and I really want to try cooking a traditional one!

Readingย this bookย andย this classicย at the same time. I love to read to my daughters the evening and we love Pippi!

Going

After a trip by Ikea, we discovered, near Oakland, a non-profit video game museum where you can play everything from the Atari 2600 to the Xbox 360: the Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment, also known as the MADE.

For a $5 entry fee, what youโ€™ll find is a big room with, well, a ton of computer-game stuff. Youโ€™ll travel through time, from the Paleozoic period (black-and-white screens and primitive graphics) to 21st-century technology.
Where? THE MADE – 3400 Broadway, Oakland.
