November favorites

I really enjoyed putting together a list of my discoveries last two months, and it was lovely to see so many checked out the links that I shared!
My family and I will be back in Italy in two weeks, for a long month. Itโ€™s coming along really quickly.
This month Iโ€™ve been deep into Christmas gifts and decor ideas.
Here are some things I loved this month.

Making

Wahhhhh so many ideas in my head about DIYs to make for the Christmas but I will be in Rome, in my parent’s home, so I can only imagine something for table settingsโ€ฆ I adore the fun Christmas place cards, I need some photos but I’m sure I will make them!

Also, for the first time in my life, my mother will let me help in the kitchen for Christmas lunch. I will bake lasagna, my daughters’ favorite pasta (and a typical Italian festive food!).

Nesting

This month I got down to business in embroidery, and then made a cute one for my girls’ room! Youโ€™d be crazy not to grab yourself a pair of thread and make this easy DIY. And because I’m all about embroidery decor at the moment, you might want to check out this Christmas DIY too!

Iโ€™ve been doing so much inspiration gathering, it honestly never stops. I love the vibe of this embroidery hoops wall.
How cool is?!

Iโ€™m all about adding the finishing touches right now at my girls’ room but totally drawn to amazing wallpaperโ€ฆ Heart eyes!

Hanging planters are everywhere right now, why not make your own? And invest a little time in macrame and then make a simple one using rope!

Reading

This trip in Italy is no small thing and requires plenty of planning โ€“ Cecilia will be missing school for one month, luckily there is the winter break in the middle – but I plan a lot of homework and reading!
Santa will bring Anne from Green Gables and a vintage edition of Stuart Little. Hope she loves them like me.

For the long airplane flight, I plan to read. On my kindle, I have a lot of interesting books, and my cousin gave me, for my birthday (long months ago, I know), the entire Twilight saga. I think this will be the perfect time for start reading it.

Going

You know when you find something a delicious restaurant and you just have to eat in again? Aptos St. bbq made us do a double and triple trip. I’ll be waiting next week, before departure, another visit!
