How to make this DIY Spring Wreath for 10$

I remember when we used to live in Italy, everything looked so fresh and bright in spring! The greens were so bright!
My favorite was the trees filled with blossoms, Rome is full of mimosa trees and in Spring it is amazing!
That is the picture I had in mind when I made this green and furry Spring wreath, that takes me back to a wonderful time!
This easy DIY Spring wreath totally does the trick!! Plus it took me about 10 minutes to make and I stayed true to my resolve of creating a wreath for $10.

DIY Spring Wreath

You need
โ€ข Wire wreath
โ€ขย Swiffer duster reusable pad (5 in total)
โ€ข Wire
โ€ข Green felt
โ€ข Purple chalk
(I buy all my supplies at dollar tree store)

How to
With a wire, wrap the bottom and the top of the dusters to the wire wreath until you form a circle.

Draw your leaf pattern to the felt and cut it.

Starting with the smallest petals, tightly roll the felt until you reach the end.

Secure with wire (or rubber band) and arrange the petals.

Use the chalk to add dimension to your plant, make them darker to the edges.
Cut a length of wire and wrap the succulent stems in the dusters (no hot glue to burn your fingers this time!)
Finally, add another piece of twine for hanging the wreath.

I rationalized that while it is perfect for Spring, you can also use it as a party decorations.
So now is time to add some cheerful and bright decor starting with the front door, or hanging the wreaths on the wall using easy 3M wall hooks!
