July favorite

This monthโ€™s post is a good one, with my parents in law helping me, Iโ€™ve had lots of time to surf the Internet and be inspired!
July has passed in a bit of a daze, the first few days we barely left the house, due to the jetlag, but after that we started to venture out, ready to discover other amazing places!
These last few days Iโ€™ve also been feeling really inspired and ready to get creative.

Making

Recently I’m on growing an avocado, not with toothpicks but in the water! So so fun and excited to share more. If you want to try it yourself, Iโ€™ve linked the tutorial I found.

Now that I restart to train, Iโ€™ve been so ready to get back into linen high waisted trousers, think Iโ€™ll sew a new pair, like these!

I am sooo inspired to knit some more projects due to my beautiful project bag! In the works currently? A tee, a sweater, and four projects for my girls!

Nesting

So feeling everything yellow and burnt orange right now, is anyone else into it too?
I plan to make this pillow for my sofa in mustard yellow.

Stumbled upon this blanket a few years ago on Ravelry, I donโ€™t crochet, but the gorgeous colors and the boho style have stuck in my mind. Which skein would you choose?

Reading

I just read this book and loved it so much! If you are not really into “woo woo” stuff you will be pleasantly surprised!

โ€œIf the things you used to deem fun now just make you tired.โ€
Sound familiar?
Maybe youโ€™re going through social menopause?

Going

If you havenโ€™t got into Capitola yet, perhaps itโ€™s time to see it?
There are so many amazing things to do and see in the Capitola, like happy hour in the seashore. Check Capitola websites frequently as many restaurants in town offer Happy Hour specials throughout the week!

Missing all the romantic scenery and ancient ruins, that I had seen everywhere when I was in Italy โ€“ makes me want to take a trip! But I just discovered an Italian castle in Napa, Castello di Amorosa, and I want to see it!
