January 2020 favorite

Can you believe that the first month of the year is done?
This month has been a busy one, I’ve been busy strategizing my business and focusing on ‘Growth’ (my word of the year).
I’ve also been a bit distracted because my father was here, but now he’s back in Italy and I can be 100% concentrate!

Making

After the Advent Calendar of the previous month, I feel a little drained so I just started only the Ursa sweater.
Calling all maker lovers! Here is an article you might like.

Nesting

Anything rug inspired I’m into… Yes, put a rug on it is my motto… I’m searching for one for my kitchen and this rug has my name on it.
Plants don’t just have to be for aesthetics, sometimes they can play a pivotal role in the whole room. Like this vintage bath turned table.

Reading

The silence of the girls, a great book, written by Pat Barker who is a pro at writing historical war fiction, this is about the plight of the women during the Trojan wars, it’s a bit shocking at times as the women are treated as property and spoils of war, but completely captivating.
Circe by Madeline Miller. If you are searching for family rivalry, palace intrigue, love, and loss, as well as a celebration of indomitable female strength in a man’s world, this is the book for you!

Wearing

I recently found these, after umming and ahhing over them for a while, I still unsure if I need these.
In my Ravelry wishlist, there is a casual and laid back and perfect tee!
In my dreams, there is the Sabrina Spellman orange crocheted sweater.
