Welcome April

Here’s to say: Hello April!
Now is the time to think about your home’s exterior area.
I might want to add a bench or, better, one of that comfortable bamboo armchair to add a bohemian look at the outside too!
Ok, enough daydreams, time to start my knitting plans for the month!

Finished works

I’m proud to tell you that I’ve finished my Ixchel!!! And I still can’t believe that! A nine months long WIP, the longest in my knitter’ life. The design is stunning, but I will take a break from knitting another project like this.
I also finished the little toy for Cecilia. In the end, she prefers a little cat, like our Selina, so I took the pattern of my ballerina mouse and modified it. She loves her little ballerina cat!

Published designs

The past month I worked on another bundle for my Etsy shop, you can find the post here.
From this month all my past designs will be FREE on my blog! It’s a big decision for me, but I’m on a mission to design patterns accessible to everyone!

WIP

โ€ข Ice Cream Sundae: This month will be my daughter Cornelia’s birthday, she will turn five. She wants a bolero for her ballet class, and I found this one and it’s perfect for her!
โ€ข Cheshire tee: My last design is almost done, I have to knit just some more rows and write the pattern! A call for testers will be soon announced in my IG.

Dreamin on casting on

โ€ข Red Moon Sweater: still in my wish list, I want to knit the version with short sleeves, the one in pink and red. I’m on a quest to finish my stash yarn so I have to wait for it ๐Ÿ™‚
My Ursa is on pending, is too hot for knitting with bulky wool! But I find another spring project to dream on!
โ€ข A spring garland! I have to knit some green leaves and put them on the mantel.

Reading

My first choice is another Neil Gaiman’s book: Anansi Boys.
My husband just finished it, it’s my turn now!
Big announcement! For the first time in my life, I’m in an online book club! Ther are reading schedule and weekly comments, I can’t wait to start!
The first book will be “In Five Years” by Rebecca Serle.

Upcoming projects and news

At the end of the month, my Avanzi sweater will be released!
A size-inclusive pullover worked in the round from the top down.
Best part? It will be for free.
This month on my blog, I will write about finding a niche, creative process & blocks, manage multiple WIPs, and transform hobbies into a business.
