I’m excited to announce the release of my newest design, the Chibi Moon Cardi!
The Moon Cardigan is the coziest thing Iโve ever knit, so I knitted a mini version for my daughters.
Even if for children, this is a long, slouchy, and relaxed cardigan with roomy pockets.โ
Like the Moon cardi, the main feature is the intarsia colorwork on the back.โ
In the Chibi Moon Cardi, the right front, back, and left fronts are knitted in a single piece from the bottom up, starting with the ribbing. The front and back are separated at the armholes, then are worked separately until the shoulders to create the armhole openings.
The sleeves are worked picking up stitches from the armholes, with decreases.
Stitches are picked up along the collar, and a ribbing pattern is knitted.
Two optional pockets are knitted and attached to each front panel.
