Yes, it’s true. There’s yet another โacademiaโ you need to know about. An academia’s research, specified in witchcraft: the Witchy academia.
Witchy academia revolves around folklore, the pursuit of reading, writing, and anything mysterious.
It takes some inspiration from Dark Academia and Witchcore. It has some elements of Cottagecore or Naturecore since some of the aesthetics revolve around the outdoor setting.
What to knit in the Witchy academia aesthetic: 10 easy knitting pattern
Witchy academia fashion is pretty noticeable upon seeing it, though not one uniform witches must follow.
As you can pretty much assume, the aesthetic is inspired by the magical beings, witches. Power and femininity are ever so present in their physical looks. And as mentioned before, this aesthetic is not a new one; itโs been around for decades.
Witchy fashion utilizes a variety of darker-hued, natural colors and black with lace and frill.
Vintage wear from thrift stores or hand-me-downs is often seen in this aesthetic, as well as some gothic, hippie, and boho themes.
