SIZING
Small mushroom: 1.5″ x 2″ / 3 x 4 cm
Medium mushroom: 2.5″ x 4″/ 6 x 10 cm
Big mushroom: 4″ x 6″ / 10 x 15 cm
NEEDLES
Small mushroom: US 4 / 3.5 mm circular needles (60 cm long) for magic loop method or dpns.
Medium mushroom: US 7 / 4.5 mm circular needles (60 cm long) for magic loop method or dpns.
Big mushroom: US 9 / 5.5 mm circular needles (60 cm long) for magic loop method or dpns.
YARN
The sample used DK yarn: Hobbii Amigo 100% HB Acrylic.
You can use 2 strands of DK or Aran weight for the medium mushroom and 4 strands of DK or 2 strands of Aran or Chunky for the big mushroom.
YARDAGE
Small mushroom in DK yarn:
MC: 30.6 yds / 28 m
CC: 4.4 yds / 4 m
Medium mushroom in aran yarn:
MC: 41.5 yds / 38 m
CC: 6.5 yds / 6 m
Big mushroom in chunky yarn:
MC: 52.4 yds / 48 m
CC: 8.7 yds / 8 m
GAUGE
9 sts per inch for small mushroom, 8 sts per inch for medium mushroom, 7 sts per inch for big mushroom

Small mushroom: 1.5″ x 2″ / 3 x 4 cm

CONSTRUCTION
To make these mushrooms, you will knit flat top down, starting from the cap, and work increases until you reach the stem, following the pattern. Gills are made using a picot bind off, and scales are made using nupps. Gills and scales are optional.
