October favorites

October is a busy month, with a lot to do, and also a need to get stuck into the end of year projectsโ€ฆ Doing all that while wrangling impossible Halloween’s costume requests from my daughters, sure has been an exciting challenge, but seeing my girls so quickly grow and plan together is so so amazing.

By the way, this is on my mind and hands (+heart) this month!

Making

Weโ€™re making Pokeball for this Halloween, and I’m knitting some backpacks for my three pokemon trainers ๐Ÿ™‚
In case youโ€™re looking to get creative this weekend how about making an amazing macrame chandelier!

Nesting

Anyone else wants to cover their home with plants and rugs?
Or maybe knit a giant blanket for the sofa?
Felling all the wacky vases right now. Like these and these.

Reading

Iโ€™ve been doing a fair share of reading and wanted to share with you a few books that I have found useful for inspiring useful change, like The alter ego effect, about creating a heroic alter ego to activate when the chips are down.
I have read so many books in the last few months, turns out a lot of them are about cooking, this month I recommend you The Garden Chef, it will bring a twist in your kitchen!

Going

A Nintendo theme parkland will soon be real, so I can dream about going here! The first version of Super Nintendo World will open in Universal Studios Japan in Osaka, read more about it and feel the excitement!
A little bit more realistic is our plan to going to see the Grand Canyon next month during Thanksgiving break. If you have any suggestion I’m glad to hear it!
