November 2019 favorite

It already the end of November! I always feel like the coming festive season is fun and chaotic and utterly exhausting. Don’t you think?
Iโ€™ve been trying to slow down a bit where possible, play with my girls without any distractions, not think about lists of things I need to do (and trust me, it’s a huge list!) and just be.
In the meantime, here are my November faves!

Making

This year I have opted out of green and red Christmas decor, instead of going with white tones. And this wreath is a must-have!

Iโ€™ve started going phone free on (most of) Sundaysโ€ฆ I left my phone in my bedroom (otherwise I find myself scrolling like a robot) and do something with my girls insteadโ€ฆ Last weekend it was coloring this amazing book.

Stay tuned for an amazing project in the coming days, it will keep you busy from December 1st to 24th!

Nesting

I really want to try this wrap-around gallery wall, I have my staircase too empty, time to decor it!

Planning (aka dreaming about) a new decor projectโ€ฆ in our half bathroom! I will knit another leaf garland and some baskets for all the little stuff!

Reading

Read a few more books this month!
Including re-read one of my favorite, His dark materials by Philip Pullman. I’m planning to add it to my Christmas gift list for my grandma.

Not a book but still enjoyableโ€ฆ I have discovered the Vogue podcast, Knitter Views. I am way behind but I have listened to one and has been a delight.

Going

This month I discovered TreasureFest! It brings together the best of everything that defines the culture of San Francisco at the beloved Treasure Island.
A vivid market filled with clothes and jewelry by local designers, rare items, vintage collectibles, and more.

And I plan to go to see the Day Of The Dead Procession and Festival of Altars at The Mission District. It starts at 7 pm so for a few years I will pass.
