Welcome March

February was a 29-days month this year, but with two entire days off from school and with Valentine’s day I felt it shorter than usual.
I’m glad that in only 29 days, I accomplished so many things, let’s see what together!

Finished works

I finished the test knit for Shining Armour by Dani Sunshine. An easy poncho for my 4-years old daughter. It was so quick to knit for once!
I also finish the Afterglow Peplum, another test knit for Brittany Schumaker. In the end, I decided to knit with two colors, one for the body and one for the straps. It turns out beautifully.

Published designs

I launched my snowball sweater!
This is a size-inclusive pullover worked in the round from the top down.
The fit is relaxed and comfortable. It has flowy, oversized sleeves. Circles full of bobbles are worked on the yoke.
It is a perfect sweater to wear this incoming spring! And, thanks to my test knitters, you can see it on different bodies!

WIP

โ€ข  Ichel sweater: I finally decided to move on to this pattern (trumpet blast). I hope to finish it soon.
โ€ข Fox: I have to knit a fox for my daughter, who turns eight this month. I already knitted two different in the past years; I’m running short of variations! Every tip is welcome!

Dreamin on casting on

โ€ข Red Moon Sweater: still in my wish list, I want to knit the version with short sleeves, the one in pink and red. But I have to finish my WIP before that!
โ€ข Ursa: The yarn my dad give to me for Christmasโ€ฆ gone! But the skeins from February Knitcrate are perfect! Omg, I wish to have more time to knit!

Reading

One of my resolution of 2020 is to read more, at least 2 books for a month.
In January I read Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman and Wicked by Gregory Maguire.
In February I stuck with those two authors and I read Son of a Witch by Gregory Maguire and The ocean at the end of the lane by Neil Gaiman.
Now I just started The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman.
I don’t know what I will read next.

Upcoming projects and news

This month I will release another bundle. I decided to do it to let me breathe a little more. So I will release a new design once every two months. It gives me the time to think about how to design better, and the time to the test knitters eight weeks to work. A win-win!
This month on my blog, I will write about goal settings, target, visual business, originality, yarn stash, and on being a knit designer.
