Welcome May

Wow, I can’t believe how quickly the time goes!
These social distancing months have flown very quickly! And Yay for the last month of school!
I’ve got a severe amount of knitting to do, as usual, and now that all my girls’ birthdays are passed, I can concentrate more.
Time for planning my knitting and blogging month!

Finished works

Cornelia’s birthday was April 27th, she wants a bolero like a ballerina, and she was so happy when she unwrapped it! I’m so glad I can still make my girls happy with simply knitting.
I also finished knitting my Cheshire tee, and I just need to take better photos. Test knitters are at work for it, and I can’t wait to share it with you!

WIP

Marettimo: I want all the oversized, lighter, tee’ beautiful designs right now, and I have Caitlin’ tee on my wishlist for a long time. I also have the perfect yarn for it!
A cardigan: this cardigan is from a design I had in my mind for a long time. It is a long project, but right now is what I need!

Dreaming of casting on

Red moon tee: finally, I have the perfect color combo for my tee (yes, I want a tee, not a sweater!). The primary color is from the Etsy store candy corn yarn, and the contrast color is from next month’ knitcrate.
My Little Secret Crop by Jessie Maed Designs: this mystery pattern intrigues me from March. I have to give it a try!

Reading

City of girls: I’m a big fan of Elizabeth Gilbert, one of my favorite books is “Eat, Pray, Love” so inspiring! I have a lot of good vibes about this one too!
The last lecture: in early March, with my family, we spent hours in our favorite bookshop, I never thought it was my last trip for a few months. Long story short, I bought this little book because its title captured me. It’s time to read it!

Upcoming projects and news

In April, I finished my 52 weeks of stitches challenge! It was fun, and I hope you enjoyed it!
Starting from this month, I will release my previous patterns for free on my blog, one per month. It will be a long process, but I can do it just one design at a time!
Then, at the end of the month, I will release another bundle on Etsy.
This month on my blog, I will write about confidence, affordable yarns, Pinterest, essentials, and time. Stay tuned!
