Welcome June

Does anyone else find this time very strange? With the end of the school, I have zero ideas of what day it is and thereโ€™s no such thing as morning routine with my daughters.
It’s the perfect time to read something, stay in the garden during the day, and maybe truly relax. Admittedly the concept of relaxing has changed a lot since the COVID-19.
But, I have to admit that I like the weird, nebulous-ness of these first days of June because they usually offer up a few hours of downtime to plan the month ahead.
In case youโ€™re like me Iโ€™ve put together my list of things to knit (and read) that might help.

Welcome june

Finished works

Marettimo: I have Caitlinโ€™s tee on my wishlist for a long time and now it’s ready to be wear in this season! I love the color combo I choose, my husband says it reminds him the Amazon, my daughter Cecilia is more poetic, she said it’s like when you open a rock and find the shiness inside!
Moon cardigan: my fav design finally on my favorite thing to wear! Yes, I have a passion for cardigans! The pattern is ready and a call for tester will be out soon!

WIP

The Anne: I finally decided to knit this one! I have in my wishlist for a while and it’s perfect for the summer!
Framework Bralette: another challenging project! Never knit underwear before, and this looks so comfy!

Dreaming of casting on

Red moon tee: My yarn is on the way! Maybe next month I will finally cast on!
Ripple Buttshorts: Shorts! So challenging! I wonder if I can knit those in cotton.

Reading

Gradient Style: I really wanted to borrow it from my library but in the end, I bought from Amazon, I couldn’t wait longer! Now, time to study!
Tolstoy and the Purple Chair: It’s been more than one year that my mom passed away and this book is about loss and hope. Just what I need.
