Welcome July

The beauty of summer is that you don’t need much – just some time for doing what you love, which let’s face it, is our favorite way to pass the time!
And the only way we’re staying sane in the past months.
My vision for this July is to knit from the comfort of our couch Netflix, face mask, and a glass of wine optional but highly recommended!

Finished works

The Anne Pullover: I have the perfect summer tee for my long skirts! It’s perfect for a summer dress too.
My little secret top: it was an easy top to knit! It will be my summer PJ, now I have to knit a pair of buttshorts!

WIP

Red moon tee: My yarn arrives! I will finally cast on this magical sweater… short sleeves version, of course!
Modern Weasley: It is not the right time for a bulky sweater but when I have an idea in my mind I can’t wait to cast on! Stay tuned for my progress, Molly Weasley will be proud!

Dreaming of casting on

Ripple Buttshorts: Shorts! So challenging! I will knit those in cotton to match my top.
Sol tank: At the end of the month another beautiful design from Jacqueline Cisak will be released and I can’t wait for it!

Reading

Jane Austen at Home: Jane Austen is one of my all-time favorite authors, so I have to read this biography by Lucy Worsley.
If Walls Could Talk: another fantastic book by Lucy Worsley, as an architect, this book is calling me.

Upcoming projects and news

I just released my Chesire tee, a pattern perfect for the summer.
My FREE old pattern of the month will be all the elemental cans, 4 easy patterns for your home, coming next week.
This month on my blog, I will write about time, stitches, and confidence. Stay tuned!
